Got to admit that I was a little sceptical of the potential value of Google+ but when I started to see the badge appearing in my search results I knew this was something I had to investigate. After doing some research it seems that Google+ is gathering some traction and it is being used by b2b focused companies (an area where facebook is not really that well used)
It also seems that if you manage to get a customer or prospect to Google+ your company or page your are going to feature higher up in their future search results as Google makes the assumption that they are interested in your company – pretty powerful stuff
